Waves or wrinkles on the fabric
Waves often appear if the screen has been stored rolled up for a long time (typically 1–2 months from factory to customer). This is normal for fabric kept under tension in the case.
No side tension
If one side of the screen sags, the cause is usually the tension springs inside the frame or possible mechanical damage (dents, bends). In this case, the screen is only pulled from one side and looks uneven.
Solutions:
– For temporary waves: leave the screen open for 24 hours. The fabric will naturally straighten under its own weight. To speed up the process, place the screen under direct sunlight — the warmth helps the fabric relax faster.
– To check side tension: inspect the frame for dents and check the side springs (under the plastic clips).
– Use a level (or a smartphone app) to ensure the floor/surface is even.
