Unstable construction
Some customers feel the screen seems fragile because of the lightweight stand and frame. The design is intentionally light — otherwise, Amazon would not be able to store and fulfill such units. This is not a defect but a limitation of the form factor: a large screen on a slim tripod.
Sail effect (screen swaying in the wind)
Another situation occurs outdoors. Because of its wide surface, the screen acts like a sail, and even light wind can cause swaying.
The solution for both cases is the same and has been successfully used by many customers:
– Make sure all locks are securely tightened (including the blue rotation lock and pole clamps).
– Reduce the screen height where possible to minimize wind exposure.
– Place the screen near a wall, fence, or other barrier.
– Add weight: hang backpacks, water bottles, or place sandbags.
– If needed, secure the screen with ropes and stakes, just like a tent.
